Costanza Masini

Costanza joined Payne Velasco as a Trainee Solicitor in 2021 and qualified as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 2023. Following her qualification, she continued to closely work with the Payne Velasco matrimonial team and is currently a Senior Associate focusing on family law.

As part of the Payne Velasco matrimonial team, Costanza specialises in all aspects of divorce, including child custody, spousal and child maintenance, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, jurisdiction issues, and child abduction. She has assisted clients in a range of complex cases, including successfully securing the return of the children to their country of residence in a child abduction case under the Hague Convention (EY vs SE [HCMP 267 of 2025]).

Costanza has helped clients navigate mediation, negotiation, and litigation with personalized attention and empathy, understanding that every family is unique.

Costanza is a native Italian speaker and has organised talks with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, often also assisting Italian clients living in Hong Kong.

After having completed her Bachelor of Laws in the United Kingdom, she then attained her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) at City University of Hong Kong in 2021.
